Sometimes the most valuable feature of an actuator is not what it switches, but what it tells you. Current detection changes the maintenance conversation completely. The 16 A contact rating ensures that monitoring never comes at the expense of switching muscle, while the manual mode keeps the device practical: both outputs can be operated by hand on the module, independent of the bus, which is essential during commissioning and maintenance.

Software completes the picture. In addition to the standard switch-actuator functions — ON/OFF with feedback, staircase lighting, delays, scenes, logic, blocking and priority control — the current-detection application adds threshold monitoring with configurable behaviour when values rise above or fall below the set point, plus counting functions that track how often a circuit switches and how long it operates. Over time, that data turns the actuator into a small predictive-maintenance sensor for the equipment it feeds. A green LED indicates readiness; screw terminals and the light-grey REG housing keep installation conventional.
