The 5WG1258-7EB01 (AP 258E01) is a surface mounting enclosure designed to convert flush-mount KNX presence detectors and brightness sensors into surface-mount installations.

This enclosure is compatible with the UP 258D12 and UP 258E22 presence detectors as well as the UP 255D21 brightness sensor. When structural constraints prevent recessed back-box installation — such as solid concrete ceilings, retrofit projects, or temporary structures — the AP 258E01 provides a clean, finished housing that secures the detector directly on wall or ceiling surfaces. The titanium white finish blends unobtrusively into most interior surfaces, maintaining a professional appearance.
