The KNX binary input module provides eight dry contact inputs for reading potential-free contacts in building automation installations. Each input features a direct operation function with LED status indication and a front button to enable or disable direct mode. Maintenance-free terminals support connection and through-wiring of untreated single-core, stranded, or multi-core conductors from 0.5 to 2.5 mm. The device permits cable runs up to 100 m using twisted pair cables and is fully bus-powered. Its light grey plastic housing (RAL 7035) is designed for DIN rail mounting on TH35 according to DIN EN 60715.
