The KNX pushbutton interface is a compact flush-mounted device designed for installation in switch and socket boxes with a diameter of 60 mm. It provides two inputs/outputs configurable for potential-free contacts or for controlling an LED indicator, making it ideal for integrating conventional pushbuttons into a KNX system.
Key Features
- The unit generates its own sensing voltage for potential-free contacts, eliminating the need for an external supply
- Inputs support a maximum cable length of 10 m using unshielded twisted cable
- Input functions include locking via blocking objects, adjustable duration of long button press, and configurable contact type as normally open or normally closed
- Transmission parameters support adjustable cyclic transmission and configurable transmission after bus voltage recovery
- The device evaluates short and long button presses and supports switching on/off/toggle, 8-bit and 16-bit value transmission, single-button dimming, two-pushbutton dimming with stop telegram, and one or two-pushbutton shutter/blind control
- Scene store and recall are available as 8-bit values in conjunction with a scene module
- Pulse counting with limit value monitoring is supported in 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit modes
