The KNX universal switch actuator is a compact 1-channel device designed for mounting in appliance boxes according to DIN 49073 or in the M 592/01 mounting case. It provides one relay contact rated at AC 230 V and 16 A, suitable for controlling lighting, heating, or other single-phase loads.

The unit includes three binary inputs for potential-free contacts, allowing direct switching or status monitoring via voltage generated internally. Bus-powered electronics and an integrated bus coupling unit eliminate the need for an external power supply, simplifying installation in confined spaces.

Configuration through Engineering Tool Software enables extensive functions: status feedback, active status signaling, NO or NC contact selection, preferred position on bus failure and recovery, cyclical output monitoring, switch-on and switch-off delays, staircase function, scene control, logic operations, operating hours counting, and forced or central switching control.

Each input can be configured for switching, dimming, colour temperature control, solar protection, value sending, scene control, paired input operation, controller extension, and adjustable debounce.
