The N 543D51 KNX solar protection actuator controls eight independent AC 230 V channels for larger shading zones in commercial and residential buildings. Each channel delivers 6 A rated contact current and includes end position detection to confirm that sunblinds, shutters, or awnings reach their programmed limits.

Two interlocked relays per output reverse motor polarity for up/down travel, while per-channel status LEDs provide immediate feedback on direction and override state. Direct operation buttons enable manual driving, stopping, and slat adjustment during commissioning or maintenance, with a mode key for switching between bus and local control.

The actuator is powered directly from the KNX bus, eliminating auxiliary supply needs. Automatic travel time determination and adjustable reverse pause protect connected drives.
