The UP 520/03 KNX shutter blind actuator is a single-channel AC 230 V controller designed for recessed installation in 60 mm diameter and 60 mm deep flush-mounting switch or socket boxes. It delivers 6 A rated contact current and utilizes two electrically interlocked relays to reverse motor direction for raising and lowering sun protection, shutters, and blinds.
The device includes end position detection and features screwless terminals that support solid, stranded, or multi-core conductors from 0.5 to 2.5 mm. Bus-powered electronics and integrated bus coupling units eliminate the need for a separate power supply. The unit is supplied with a mounting frame and BTI interface for straightforward installation.
Configurable behavior on bus voltage failure and recovery ensures reliable operation, while automatic sunlight tracking, manual mode, and standard mode provide flexible control. Integrated 1-bit and 8-bit scene control supports up to eight scenes per channel, and status objects report sun protection and slat position.
