S 190/01 KNX Fine Surge Protector Overvoltage Protection 5kA DC 24V Ground 5WG1190-8AD01
The S 190/01 KNX overvoltage protection module provides fine surge protection for KNX bus devices, safeguarding sensitive electronics against transient overvoltages induced on the bus line. It can be inserted directly into a bus device in place of a standard S 193 bus terminal or connected directly to a bus terminal.
Surge protection is achieved by connecting the yellow/green ground conductor to the next grounding point. The module features two socket contacts with 1 mm diameter for insertion into bus devices, two solid 0.8 mm diameter wires for connection to the bus terminal, and one 0.75 mm diameter solid wire for surge protection grounding. It protects downstream KNX electronics by clamping lightning-induced and switching transients before they reach sensitive communication and power circuits.
