The TC5 is the same control platform as the TC4 with a taller screen and a wider brief. At 5 inches and 480 by 854 pixels it can be mounted horizontally or vertically, and that orientation is a parameter rather than a mechanical variant, so one article covers a portrait plate beside a door and a landscape plate above a worktop.

The extra height buys 15 function pages instead of 12, 120 configurable functions instead of 72, sixteen schedules instead of eight, and a colour LED strip that works as an orientation light in a dark corridor and as an alarm indicator when something fails.

The technical envelope is otherwise familiar: KNX TP for communication, an external 24 volt DC feed for the display, an integrated temperature sensor, a micro SD slot for wallpapers and icon sets, and a mounting plate for a 60 millimetre box.

What separates the TC5 in practice is Human Centric Lighting. Tunable white and RGBW are present on both panels, but the TC5 carries HCL as a first class function with its own control page, which means a circadian profile can be started, paused and overridden from the wall rather than only from a controller.

The 120 function icons and 15 pages are the other practical difference: a room with blinds, four lighting groups, two HVAC zones, a fan and a scene set fits with pages to spare, where the TC4 would force some functions into nested menus.
