Product Overview
The two-channel member of ABB's analogue output family is the i-bus KNX AA/A 2.1.2, delivered as a complete surface-mounted unit. It converts bus telegrams into 0...10 V DC control levels, enabling continuous actuators in HVAC plant to be driven directly from the KNX installation.
Key Advantage: Drawing its energy from the bus line, the module requires no auxiliary voltage terminal - making it ideal for retrofit work, decentralised plant installations, and cramped control panels.

Typical Applications
Used for valve and damper positioning in fan coil units and compact air-handling sections, in boiler rooms with limited panel space, and for pressure-independent VAV control wherever two analogue outputs suffice. Configuration & Documentation
Parameters are configured using ETS software, and the i-bus Tool can be utilized to monitor and document the emitted signal values for system verification and maintenance.
