SD/S 2.16.1 ABB i-bus KNX 2-Channel Switch and Dim Actuator DIN Rail 16 A 1-10V Relay Control Module

Two lighting groups can be switched and dimmed with the ABB i-bus KNX SD/S 2.16.1. This modular DIN-rail actuator gives each channel a voltage-free 16 A relay contact together with a 1-10 V control signal output, so luminaire groups fitted with electronic ballast gear or 1-10 V LED drivers are switched and regulated from 0 to 100 %, from the bus or by hand on the unit. The relay isolates the group from the mains when it is switched off. Manual control with a visual status display is part of the design, and because the actuator draws its supply from the KNX line no additional power unit is needed.

Deployed in commercial interiors - open-plan offices, consultation rooms, hotel lobbies and teaching spaces - where ballast-fed luminaires are arranged in zones. Because the relay contact is voltage-free, mixed load types may also be switched on the same device.
